STEAM RED FACTION + RED FACTION II FAQ

1. Download Pure Faction from this website
2. Run the installer. When the installer asks for your Red Faction directory, you must tell it your Steam Red Faction directory. The default Steam Red Faction directory is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\red faction\

NOTE: You must launch Pure Faction via PF.exe or the Pure Faction launcher (PFLauncher.exe). The Steam overlay will currently not work. (A "Pure Faction" shortcut will be placed in the Start Menu)
NOTE: If you still have some issues after installing and while using Pure Faction, you may have to set PF.exe to run in Windows 98 Compatibility mode.
